Skull Shirt

Short-sleeved shirt with a relaxed fit. On the back it has a hand-embroidered detail inspired by the day of the dead.

In Mayan culture, skulls embody rebirth and, far from generating fear, have positive connotations.

Today, we can say that skulls respond to a vision of life in which death is not definitive. It is the fused belief that links the two worlds. Skulls are part of Mexico's cultural heritage.

The embroidery is made in Chiapas by Angélica María's group.
